Since the moment I walked into Cocoa Capilar, I felt so welcomed! The staff was incredibly sweet, friendly, and attentive. I came in for a haircut and some hydration, and Alexa recommended the “Aminoacid Treatment “exactly what I was looking for since I wanted something nourishing without harsh chemicals. And omg!!! I absolutely loved it ❤️ I walked in with my hair looking dry and lifeless, and left with it looking stunning 🤩 My haircut is perfect, my hair feels healthy, and I left the salon super happy. I will definitely be coming back!
Initially great service when I went the first time. Idk if the the hair artist Monica is still there but she was wonderful and def knew what she was doing. I have natural back hair and was originally blonde with some growth and wanted to change to copper. Had some growth in but Monica made the colors blend seamlessly. When I tried going to Monica the second time they said she had family commitments and was not at the salon at the moment. Second time, the owner “filled in my roots”. She did not talk to me about price until the end and was treating it as a full color change because the roots were about 4 inches grown in. She gave me a price and I told her the price her receptionist mentioned which was about $80 less than what she quoted me. She was not happy and went to double check and verified what I said was accurate. Got the service all seemed well but after 2 washes I noticed she did not do the color correctly and there was a noticeable difference in colors from when Monica did it. It did not blend seamlessly the way it did the last time. Wanted to give them a second chance at a 10 week follow up to get roots filled in but they wanted to charge me a full hair color change to fix owner’s mistake and “fill in” roots. Do not understand. If I had gotten it done someplace else totally understand if it were a full change color correction but it was literally the owners mistake that needed correcting… Will not be going back again. Only giving 2 stars because Monica did a superb job the first time.
